President Obama and the Democrats would have you believe the Health Care Plan isn't going to cost anything. No addition to the huge deficit they have already run up. No new taxes, except maybe for the very rich. Don't you believe it! This bill is going to cost all of us lots of money and even more in lost freedoms. Listen to the podcast and judge for yourself.

Don't Believe The Numbers

The government claims for the number of uninsured Americans is at least 6 times higher than the actual number. Why would the government inflate those numbers to make the Health Care Plan more urgent than it really is? Do you think it might be because the government wants to take control of the health care industry? It would be a major step toward destroying democracy and turning this country into a socialistic state. Listen to my podcast and see what the real numbers are!

Does this make sense to you. I'd love to hear your thoughts, even if you disagree. But no matter what else you do, you have to contact your Senators and Representatives and demand that they vote against the Obama Health Care Plan.

Health Care To Make You Sick

President Obama is pushing hard to get the Democaratic dominated Congress to pass his Health Care Bill. I suspect that most people have no idea what the bill includes, but any right thinking American needs to know how the Health Care Bill is going to increase government interferrence in your life and encroach on the freedoms we have come to expect as citizens of this great country. Listen to some of the points in the bill that I believe are designed to bankrupt the country.

Neither Candidate Will Solve America's Problems

It would appear as though this year's Presidential election will put America on track. For the first time ever a black man has been nominated to run for President. One of the most experienced men in government, a bonafide war hero, will be his opponent. Even though the vote in the primaries would indicate the voters are disgusted with the way this country is headed and want meaningful change, my bet is that nothing is going the change. The Government Is Deeper In Debt Than We Realize

Government debt affects all of us because we are the ones who pay back that debt with our tax dollars. If you think the national debt is reasonable, I suggest you listen to today's podcast. The wasteful spending of the government is going to destroy this country. We don't have to worry about terrorists. The biggest threat to our security is in Washington - in the halls of Congress.

Merry Christmas

Just a couple of more days until Christmas. The holidays are a hectic time, so I won't be doing any more entries until after the 25th.

I moved to Texas ten years ago, relocating from Wisconsin. This is the only time of the year that I really miss the snow and the crisp air. It just doesn't seem like Christmas without snow. When I was a little kid, if it hadn't snowed early in December, I was always afraid that there wouldn't be a White Christmas and Santa wouldn't be able to land on our roof top. I only remember on year when it hadn't snowed yet and it was Christmas Eve. I can tell you I was really nervous. Then, just after dark it began to snow those big fluffy flakes and by the time I went to bed there must have been at least a couple inches of the white stuff. I'm sure everyone has their own memories of some special time at Christmas, which is still my favorite holday.

Christmas is a thought, a feeling, a dream. It is mistletoe and gifts, shopping and carols, frayed nerves and hectic days. It is faith and hjope and sharing, a time when passing lives touch in a special way. It is an opportunity to say "thank you" for allowing me to to share a moment of your lie. Where Is My Tax Money?

If you're keeping up with world affairs you must know that Government spending is out of control. However, did you know that every penny you pay in income taxes is being wasted by the Federal Government? By wasted I don't mean Defense spending on an unpopular war or Federal money spent on disaster relief. I mean money that is poured into the black hole and has no return in any form, whether defense or relief or even for maintenance of a bloated bureaucracy. Maybe the following podcast will shake you up enough to do something about it.

This stuff is taking money out of your pocket and throwing it away. Do you agree or disagree? Do you have a solution or a gripe?

Is It Too Late For America?

The Alphabet Agencies Are Killing Us

An Overage Senate

Believe me, the Federal boys have picked your pocket for a lot more than you would believe.
