Quiz Suspended
Since I haven't had any comments or entries in the quizes, I'll be suspending them until I build up some loyal visitors.
This is my first attempt at blogging and so far the response has been nil. I realize there are thousands, maybe millions of blogs out there and getting noticed is a chancy thing at best. If anyone out there has any ideas on how to make the blog known sufficiently so that some people do visit on a regular basis, please let me know.
Sometimes you wonder when you hear or read about someone who started a blog and got thousands of visitors in a short period of time. What are your thoughts on this?

Okay James, I'm your first blog-ette--I'm also taking the Building Book Buzz course, and saw your info there.
I think that you're doing the right thing to get people to come to your website and Blog by posting it with fellow writers of all sorts and in all phases of their writing career. I don't even have a website yet (much less a blog)but plan to have a starter website in the near future. I think it's really interesting that you have already had novels published, yet think it's well worth the effort to self publish your next one. That, to me, is very encouraging, considering I am self publishing my first and only novel. Maybe that's what a blog is for--to encourage as well as get the buzz out there!
Good luck, and I'll be "seeing" you at class! --Leann Marshall
