I originally intended to discuss term limits for Congressmen as proposed by my novel's main character, Ted Hale.  However I've decided to hold off on that for a while.  Instead I'd like to suggest introducing a quiz to this blog.

In researching An Eagle Unchained I encountered a lot of material, some of which I included in the manuscript and some of which I didn't.  It might be nice to have a quiz on a frequent basis, perhaps once a week, based on some of that research.  If you think it would be something of interest, we could even make it a contest.  I could draw a name from all the correct responses to each quiz and award a prize.  The prize would be something from my writings, such as a booklet of my short stories or perhaps even an autographed copy of one of my novels.

Here is the first quiz question as an example of what you can expect.  I'll give the answer, the source, and an explanation in my post one week from today.

Question:  When Congress is in session, how long do you think the typical workweek is for our average legislator?

     A.  Seven days
     B.  Five days
     C.  Three days
     D.  A day and a half
